1. How do I add a rate / lookup table?

Workspaces => Add Workspace =>Add Change => type - create new => select change type as rate/Lookup table.

2. Can I delete a rate / lookup table that is added to a work space?

Any change added in the workspace can be deleted before approving it. For deleting a product choice, select the check box against the Risk and use the delete option against it or the other actions drop down.

3. What happens if add a rate / lookup table whose name definition matches with the ones that already exist?

You can add change with any name with in workspace. However while applying these changes in any plan, system restricts applying a change if there is a already a rate/lookup table with same and definition do not match

4. What happens if I create a rate table with same name the is there in a plan but with different definition (no of input columns)?

5. What can be modified in rate / lookup table during an update?

Display Name, type, Lookup Columns, rate/lookup table Data can me modified during an update of the product choice. However product choice added in a workspace can be deleted before it is approved

6. Can I add return columns for a rate / lookup table?

There can be as many return columns as the requirement demands return column can be added to a rate/lookup table

7. How many input columns can I add for a rate / lookup table?

There can be as many input columns as required. However, maximum number is 14.

8. Can I add input columns as range?

Yes, an input column of a rate/lookup table can be a range however datatype of the column must be decimal.

9. How many data rows can a rate / lookup table have?

You can add as many rows as the requirement demands

10. Can I import rate / lookup tables (definition and data) through Excel?

No, import of rate/lookup table along with definition is not supported

11. How many rate / lookup tables can I import using Excel?

Importing more than one rate/lookup table is not supported

12. What happens if the Excel imported has the existing data rows?

As along as the column data matches system will override the existing data.

14. What should be order of input columns in terms of the product structure?

It should follow sequence of business data capture.

Example: If a rating class of a property is derived based on state and zip code. Then state must be first in the sequence then followed by zip code and rating class."

15. What happens if the datatype of the input column does not match with attribute it mapped?

Datatype of the input column must match with the datatype of an attribute mapped. Execution fails if the data type does not match

16. What happens if I mark a an input as interpolation / extrapolation / forecast?
